About Pat
“Do you have any books that aren’t personal development or health and wellness related?”, a friend once asked me while looking through my bookshelf. I laughed in recognition of the fact that even in my moments of “leisurely” reading, I can’t seem to escape my passion for learning more about the human experience.
I’ve always been fascinated by change. Why do we resist it? Why do we start and then revert? What if change didn’t have to be scary, but something we embraced? This curiosity led me to getting my degree in psychology, traveling the world for five years, and wearing many professional hats—divemaster, yoga teacher, tour guide, children’s coach, software engineer, and now, hypnotherapist and life coach. Regardless of the adventure, my most enlivening moments are when I’ve guided someone through a challenging experience, showing them that they are fully capable and not limited by their own beliefs.
